My name is Rajesh Nair and I am the founder of The Business Collective and the creator of The High Performing Business Roadmap.

The Business Collective is a venture creation company based in Singapore that specializes in building High Performing Businesses. It is an entrepreneurial business ecosystem where small businesses thrive and support each other while growing, based in Singapore. It is an agglomeration of high performing companies and entrepreneurs operating in high impact and high growth sectors: Healthcare/Health-tech, Clean Energy (production and conservation), Education, Safety & Security and Internet Technology. This is the result of a 14-year journey by our founders to build a high performing and agile business structure built on ethical values.

Every individual in the collective is an entrepreneur and plays a critical role in the success of the collective. We do not have employees, we have business partners that support each other, and we have built an ecosystem within which businesses that join us can thrive. I see the Employee Mindset as one of the biggest challenges that businesses face. Breaking this mindset is critical to the success of any organization and is a critical element of our own success and this is why every person who joins us is not treated as an employee but a business partner.

We have strong in-house capabilities in Digital Marketing, Internet Technology, e-Commerce, Warehousing & Distribution, Administrative Services and Financial Services. We also have a panel of external experts and contracted third parties that provide legal, accounting/tax and other services to all our companies and affiliates.

Technology is at the heart of everything we do at The Business Collective. We look to solve the problems faced by our society by creating entrepreneurs and arming them with technology and providing the coaching/mentorship that they need to succeed.

We continuously bring new businesses into The Business Collective ecosystem and implement our systems, processes, network and know-how and are able to stabilize and grow these businesses in a very short period of time. We have a demonstrable track record of success and have developed a system designed to help businesses achieve sustainable growth called The High Performing Business Roadmap.

The High Performing Business Roadmap is a clear step by step process that all our portfolio businesses use as a blueprint for all aspects of their businesses.

I believe that everything we have learned over the past 15 years of running businesses is applicable to anyone starting out on his or her entrepreneurial journey and also to anyone who runs a business, big or small. So this blog is all about building High Performing Businesses. I will periodically write posts that explain how we do things at The Business Collective and give you great tips on building your own high performing businesses.

We are on a mission to create thousands of entrepreneurs in South East Asia and inculcate this entrepreneurial spirit in the region, something that we strongly feel will be a key success factor in the long-term sustainable development of South East Asia.
